Hi Maggie,
Unfortunately the restaurant is no longer there. Lou Lou decided to sell after the horrible loss of her daughter. It was very sad.
Kind Regards

Going back this weekend, love the cat too, the views and the crockery. Yes had a blue bowl of mussels....We dont all want resturants to be the same. Its got character. Hope it hasnt changed a year later. Cause thats why we are going, unique. Will be dissapointed ifs its white or soled.

We watched this episode in the UK on Sky last night, and I said then that she looked like she was going to put back the paintings and garish crockery the minute the filming was over. There's a lot of very negative reviews of the restaurant on various dining websites, mostly mentioning excellent food but less than professional behaviour from LouLou and her partner.
Perhaps she'd consider going back to painting plates for a living, and let Holly make a real success of the restaurant without interference!

Hi Karen
You are right about the colors used not only on the plates but in the restaurant as well. Sometimes you can sit in a restaurant and just feel you want to leave. Maybe you know why or maybe you don't but the one thing is you won't go back. So we have to be very aware of the colors we use. We have many other things to be aware of as well to make these restaurants work. So thank you for your comment. Wishing you all the best
Regards

Hi John,

I was fascinated by a thing that I read on a website called allwomenstalk.com.
It said:
"Recent studies in the field of dieting psychology proved that your appetite can considerably increase because of:
- decoration or plates of particularly bright colors (red, yellow, orange, peach)
On the other hand:
- all shades of blue and dark blue in decoration and plates and cups can reduce your appetite by 70%. So if you want to lose weight
or at least not to gain any new it will be extremely helpful if you use plates, cups, table clothes or at least napkins of this color."

Do you have any thoughts on that?!!!
It could be that those coloured plates at Lou Lou on the Beach are sending out mixed messages to diners there. I'm sure some were blue, if my memory serves me correctly, as well as red, etc.

Personally, I liked your comments on the show about how it's the food that provides the vibrant colours, rather than the plates!

Thanks for the updates - I have been wondering what has happened to all these restaurants. Any idea of when the show will be returning to TV screens?
