Had my sons 1st birthday party there a few weeks ago. The platters (adult food) were fantastic, the kids muffins lovely, the staff fantastic. Can’t rave enough.

good breaky and juices but whats up coffee maker? Good coffee, bad coffee, amazing coffee and then a coffee to spit. I just can’t stand a bad coffee when i’m charged $4.50 for it.

This place is a Devonport institution. I love to hate it. Yet despite all of the cafes in Devonport I do go back. On the good side, the coffee’s better than average, there’s a kids’ playground [which closes about 3pm just as school comes out], it’s large and it’s not too quiet. The bakery items are very nice. On the down side, it could do with a damned good scrub and some ugrading of the furniture and decor. At times service can be dreadfully slow. But that’s not all the time.
