Great little cafe serving good quality food. We’ve had some great meals here lunchtimes and evenings – the pasta of the day and salads are always tasty and good value, while the desserts are excellent. Service is in our experience usually good, if sometimes a little chilled. In our experience lunch and evening service was better than breakfast. Recommended.
Best value bacon and eggs in town, good coffee and the 2008 reviews are crap. The service is not that bad at all. I go here all the time and it holds its own. I like Dizengoff, Landreth and Collie, but this is more local and does the job. Has a lip smacking mince on toast when it’s on, nice soups, but breakfast is it’s standout. Apart from the porridge which has too many raisins for me. The PI girl Barista is faultless, but sadly she ain’t full-time.

What a fantastic cafe, great staff great food and coffee. Out of the 6 cafes I have been to in Ellerslie, Cafe Melba as it is called now is know doubt the best one for service and quality.

Gosh! ended up here twice today. Came in at about 10am to meet a friend and the place was absolutely full. I had the most amazing scrambled eggs on toast ever. Very courteous and friendly staff. I am very fussy about my coffee but no complaints here. I think it is Allpress and it was very well made. Came back in the afternoon after shopping at St Lukes as my friend had recommended I try the ginger bread slice. Once again the place was quite full. I was served the most tastiest ginger bread I have ever had the pleasure to eat. I could not resist a second coffee as it was once again very well made. I am very glad I discovered this amazing cafe reasonably close to home as I can see myself frequenting this place from now on. Triniti – I thoroughly recommend the place

The owners are welcoming and capable of handling all sorts of diets and tastes. Everything here tastes like it’s made with care and enthusiasm. The flavours are fantastic and you walk out feeling nourished but not like you’ve been overladen with fat and sugar. Their soups and salads rate special mention ( let’s not get started on the delicious fudge and cakes!)
What a snug little cafe to enjoy a hot chocolate in, on a blustery, chilly day. Really friendly staff serving. I enjoyed the colourful crunchy ‘hundreds & thousands’ sprinkled on top of my generous hot chocolate. A really nice place to sit and read the paper.

Great place, great atmosphere. Cafe Cezanne has a good selection of food, reasonably priced. The cook breakfasts are great!!

Had a business lunch meeting here, and just loved my omelette with caramelised onions & feta. It was so beautiful it was hard to concentrate on the conversation at times! This place is run by the people who own Richmond Rd Cafe, which is also fantastic. Very classy cafe culture. Nice to not be on the main road. Easy street parking. I always find the staff to be warm and helpful.
