In New York there is open access broadband everywhere. In Paris, there are cafes that serve wine while you surf. In New Zealand there are exorbitant prices for the internet, and very few well designed and well-baffled cafes that you can have a professional or creative meetings in. Mon Ami is charming. The staff are lovely, the attitude of the place is of a little business that loves and supports its community with free wireless and a free bike to use and lovely food. They use organic where possible, and the coffee is non other than ‘Peoples’, served as the people like it. Tres Bon!
Awesome venue on a sun drenched day to wait for a flight. I had a glass of Rose and the salmon pasta, followed by a notoriously good Mojo coffee. It’s so good to finally have a decent eatery at the Airport.

Last Saturday we enjoyed the ‘Wellington on a Plate’ menu at Blend. Remembering this a pub, the food was very good. Very reasonably priced (as is their normal menu) and the staff were friendly and efficient. We are an older couple and liked the age cross-section. We will certainly be going back.
Great food and average service. Only downside is that it gets really busy there and is hard to get a table unless there’s only two of you…

Nice bagels, made fresh, and quick service. But rediculously over priced for what they are, and pretty small!
