This place has such a great feel about it, right from the staff to the food and now with the introductions of lunch specials and the 38.90 3 course menu the place has got a new life. I tried the pork belly and my wife had the Fish of the day. Spectacular! is all I can say. I highly recommend this place to everyone, if you are looking for a nice evening with a good meal this is the place to go.

bolero is set by albany mall, with a nice outlook and very nice setting. the service is friendly! service is fast but not too fast leaving you time to have a chat and really enjoy your evening. the food is priced nicely, not the cheapest but setting realy justifies it not to mention the exceptional quality of the food – fantastic. I go there regularly
I have recently celebrated a birthday at Tides waiake with 30 + friends. The evening was a great success and all that attended enjoyed the meal and service immensely. I can and will highly recommend Steve and his team for quality of food, experience and service. Good luck to the restaurant in the future
My husband and I have been going to Totara restaurant for the last 5 years and have always found the food exquisite and the service outstanding. Probably the best and most consistent restaurant in Auckland.
My husband took me to lunch on my Birthday. This was quite simply devine. I had a little “food envy” when I saw my husband’s starter of chicken livers….. then I tasted it and oh my…… I have to have my own next time. My starter was lovely too though, I just like to taste everything! I wanted pasta for mains and was afraid it would be too big so I was kindly offered a half portion which was perfect for me. Overall, I have to say I didn’t actually want to tell anyone how good it was as I wanted a secret place for myself, but really I just have to share. The service, food and wine list were all fabulous!

I have also been going to this restaurant for many years and have never been disappointed. Sure, the menu may not have changed but that is precisely what I like about it – I keep going back for my old favourites and there is something to suit every member of the family. Consistently good food at a reasonable price

Lesley and I live over the road and we both speak very highly of Grange’s layout, atmosphere and meals to all we talk to. We think it is a fantastic, very classy local to meet friends and to meet other at this very friendly Bar. Regards Dave
Generally fantastic. Staff could do with a little training but bloody friendly. Food was great, loved the blue cheese wontons and the smoked fish salad. Have dragged more of my friends there since my first visit. 2 for 1 deal on monday rocks!

I think Flax is lovely. Great location on the beach and it has a lovely ambiance. Food has always been superb on our numerous visits. Sure the staff can be a bit vacant – but you get that with young girls LOL. Shame the Tohu Riesling is no longer on the wine list.
