Best pizza I have ever had! We eat here often and always keen to try other stuff on the menu but the wood-fired pizza is hard to say no to. Can be busy especially on Thursdays as the special is really good value. Service is friendly and easy-going.

My girlfriend and I thouroughly enjoyed our meal last night , beautiful Pizza, nice cold beer and relaxed but professional service. We will be back for sure.

Ajo’s was recommended to us by our motel proprietor, when we were on holiday in Mt Maunganui. We ordered two large pizzas, and they were simply the best pizzas we have ever tasted! Better than the pizzas in Italy itself. The crust was light and the toppings were out of this world. The staff were very friendly and the service was excellent. As we drove home to Wellington, we wondered if we can order Ajo’s pizzas to be delivered here, because their pizzas are the best ever!!

7 of us went for a work function – excellent service, and delicious pizzas. We had pizzas to share, and they were well crafted and all were distinctive. Staff were so friendly and relaxed. A great night. Parking is easy (right out the front) and BYO is a bonus, but their cocktails looked very tempting!

Found this restaurant by chance and stopped in for an early dinner with our baby daughter. Staff were helpful with a highchair and the service was prompt and friendly, but the real reason for coming here is the truly fantastic pizza! Quality ingredients, inspired combinations, cooked to perfection and great value – what more can you ask for?

We ordered 2 large woodfire pizza’s and was not disappointed. Loved the toppings and the staff was very friendly and welcoming.

This is a really lovely little restaurant with a great atmosphere. My boyfriend had a pasta dish while I had a pizza. All delicious and good service from friendly staff.

Tues/Weds night special for $10 pizza is too small for one. Might make a good snack, although ours were drowned in sauce so we couldn’t taste the pizza itself. Service was quick and friendly though.

we go here all the time and the only fault I had was, I went there on a Wednesday and was not able to order a $10 pasta as we were told they had no pasta left seems odd to me when that is your special and we were in there around 530 6 it truly felt like she was lying to us, but the pizza’s are still very yummy and it hasn’t put me off going back

Wasn’t a planned visit. Stopped off on the way back to the hotel. Ordered a pizza. Hit the spot. The owner/waitress was friendly and quite chatty. Nice atmosphere. Pizza was delicious. The bottled water had a funny after taste.
