It’s so good to have this little oasis with a good coffee and yummy little pastries so close from the madness of the city or university. Definitely worth a visit!

Cool that they’re open till 5pm – better than most cafes (still think all should be open till 6pm).

Amazing in every way!

Coffee made to perfection, with a glorious silky milk, served by excellent staff. Pleasure was had with every sip, on a beautiful day, looking towards the luscious Albert Park, and the eye candy of the human traffic was the best!

My only issue was the guilt that I could not stay longer.

With regard to the last post, this must have been a rare bad day for these guys as i come here all the time and it is definitely one of my favourite cafes around.. i have had the steak sandwich a few times and it has been perfect every time. i find the staff super friendly, theres a real homely feel here. perhaps they had extra staff on if it was a busy day and those guys werent up to scratch.
coffee is great and i am addicted to their cinnamon brioche!

Maybe it was just a bad day for the staff or the other reviews are out of date but this would have been my worst cafe experience – ever.
Yes, it was very busy and I was initially overcharged (no biggie) but the fact that the two steak sandwiches came out cold and the meat was so tough that only half of one and 70% of the other could be eaten was disappointing. No steak knives either.
When politely pointed out, the waitress said she would “pass it on” – no attempt to remedy.
We love the variety of good cafes around – this is the first one we won’t be returning to

A morning doesn’t go by when I don’t think of coming in here! Great coffee, great people and breakfasts are awesome.

On a sunny day it’s really nice to sit outside and overlook the park. This is an awesome friendly local for me – such a rarity in the city yet so close!

I really like the coffee and ambience here.


I have tried various other cafes and still like the coffee here best of all.
