We started off with garlic bread and had the chicken schnitzel and lemon chicken for our mains, served with roast potatoes and salad. Both meals were fine with reasonable portions. The open fireplace looked very appealing as the rain was driving down outside. Unfortunately, it was still quite cold in the window seats, even with a heater not too far away from us. We were most impressed with the service here – warm, welcoming and incredibly friendly.
