We stopped off for a late lunch here after travelling along the Whanganui River road.
Lovely service and lovely food. I would highly recommend this cafe and will stop there next time I’m in the area

I stopped by for coffee on a weekday morning while the ski fields were closed. Angel Louise is quaintly decorated cafe in a very quiet town. There is a standard blackboard menu and a small selection of counter food available. I almost felt like I was bothering the staff as I placed my order and waited for it to arrive; it didn’t inspire me to hang around for very long. The caramel hazelnut slice looked appealing but was generally tasteless, although my coffee (Emporio) was fine.
