Coffee is great and the service of the staff is great too, really friendly.
There’s new ownership and I prefer the quality of the previous and how it felt like “more for your money”, they ha really good brekkie specials but now cut down on the bacon – just as an example.
Maybe an overhaul and change of the menu would be good if the prices are going to remain the same..
The scones ARE amazing but seem smaller now!

Top notch coffee and stunning big breakfast!!
I had the pleasure of visiting Aporo yesterday morning, and was thoroughly pleased with the experience!!
I’m not usually one to make reviews, however felt compelled to do so in this case. -Thanks Aporo, see ya’ll again soon!

Visited Aporo with a voucher a friend gave us … and am pleased we did … We arrived for a late lunch at 2pm which is the end of the breakfast menu time but my partner wanted the big breakfast – easily accommodated with no fuss! This is no ordinary big breakfast with home made potato cakes, chunky bits of freshly baked bread, tomato’s and pesto just to name a few of the unexpected highlights on the plate – lets of forget the expected bacon, sausages and perfectly poached eggs! My soup was delightful but I haven’t heard my partner rave about a breakfast so much before! Friendly staff, lovely coffee – we’ll be back!

The custom service very friendly and welcoming, although this place is very busy in the mornings i have to say i never experienced any hostile or bad service. Its just a busy cafe and will continue to be my cafe of choice for coffee etc…..

We had lunch here today. We ordered the big breakfast and the ham and gruyere omelette. The food was delicious, and the hot chocolate was yummy too. The only issue was that they supplied normal bread where gluten free bread was requested. Fortunately we checked and gf bread was then supplied.

Don’t believe the reviews, because although they are low. They aren’t low enough!
Food is average at best, service took 50 minutes!! Arrived just after 8am(so I could get a quick breakfast/coffee). Coffee took 15 minutes, food took another 50. So was late to work anyway.
Won’t be going back

Really gone downhill, food and service-wise, in recent times. Used to eat there a lot, but have been doing so less frequently and today’s visit will be my last. Scroll was heavy, came with no butter and when I asked for some, got a look that indicated, both to me and my dining companion, that I was asking a bit much. When I placed my mocha order, I was asked if I wanted marshmellows and replied in the affirmative…never got them. Staff appear not to be engaged.

I have had one very nasty customer service experience, but otherwise friendly service. The coffee is weak, but beware how you ask for an extra shot! (See below). Soft, moist and flavoursome muffins. This cafe is near my work, and I have been there a number of times.
Here’s my nasty experience. I found their coffee to be very weak compared to other places I go to (such as Fuel, and Mojo), so I now asked for two shots in my coffee. A woman with dark hair says “a double shot”, and puts it through. It’s weaker than ever. A colleague urges me to take it back, and tells me she has had the same problem. I do so, politely pointing out to a waiter that they have forgotten the extra shot. Ominous signs: three staff gather at the coffee machine for a quick conference. A young man breaks from the circle to take me through all the receipts on the cash register. He tells me he doesn’t find any record of a coffee sale for an extra shot. What can I say? The woman who served me joins him. Both look stern. I feel the need to defend myself, and I tell them I did ask for an extra shot, but that in any case the coffee is weak. She tells me I must have asked for a double shot, which is what I got. “All our shots are doubles”. I say all I wanted was an extra shot, because their normal measure – whatever they wish to call it – is not strong enough, and that I don’t know how else to ask for it. The young man: “You mean a triple shot!”. The woman, emphatically: “you asked for a double”. I tell her that she called it a double, not me. She argues: “you asked for a double shot”. I disagree. She gives up: “well, I must be losing my mind”, frowns, and backs away. He hands me the coffee – now with an extra shot in it. Did it have to be that hard? Somewhat shaken and still caffeine deprived, I snatched my hard-won coffee from his hand, and vowed never to return.

Great cafe. Friendly staff, great decaf coffee and their bacon and feta pinwheels are amazing! Healthy and fresh food.

cheese scone and main of roast beef sandwich nice, date ‘scone’ dry and chicken salad very average. The coffee was nice flavour but disappointingly tepid in temperature. Staff very friendly
Nice, sunny cafe. Large tables and plenty of space to stretch out and read the paper over a nice coffee. menu looks pretty good – and healthy. really liked the cake I got – some kind of gluten free pum and chocolate thing that was really nice. I make it a regular stop now.
