Good place to get a nice coffee and a good sized breakfast in the morning. Although depending on the barista the coffee can be a bit hit or miss

I went to this cafe because of the entertainment book. Had the fish cakes as stated glutenfree. Well spent the next day sick as because couscous was not gluten free. I did question with staff member if she was sure it was gluten free. Bad experience. My friend had risotto, found it to be tasteless.

On a Thursday morning, prior to the World Cup starting, we opted for a breakfast here, as the place seemed to be well patronised. Very mediocre – at best. Service was average – a request to replace white toast with wholegrain took 3 explanations (we are native Kiwis so hardly a language barrier). Mocachino was ok – but not a marshmallow, chocolate fish or anything in sight – everywhere else in Wellington came with something, for the same amount of dollars. Very limited menu, obviously as the place runs like a production line. Two orders of bacon, eggs, tomato and toast. Got the bread we ordered but no butter, eggs weren’t even beaten properly before they were scrambled and bacon had hardly had a chance to touch the pan, resulting in a pale offering without a hint of flavour.
Plenty of other options in Wellington to spend your hard earned dollar, whether you’re a tourist or a local.

Chai latte was Good, Avocados that were served were brown, Orders kept getting mixed up, I went there with my Mum, we had been there for 30 minutes (waiting for a lady to test drive our car) when a waiter rudely asked us to leave because the cafe was becoming Busy, I’ve worked in hospitality for four years and have never been so mortified, wish Arabica all the best but will not be returning

Went there with my family in early January, had a long wait, then the order was wrong, as I had waited and already paid, I said okay, ate then left.
I had breakfast at Arabica today and was sadly dissapointed. The muesli with fresh fruit and berries was not only more like a pick and mix nut fiesta but there were no berries to speak of and only a token two or three pieces of fruit on top. The coffee was the biggest dissapointment, very milky and it was a flat white! I do not understand how the place was so busy.
Today I had lunch with a friend and we both choose the fish. The dish was nice overall, althought slightly salty – but good. It was busy and they do get a lot of people into a small location. I’d go back without question.

Went for breakfast this morning. THE BEST coffee I’ve had in a long time! The staff were friendly, and our food arrived within 10-15minutes even though they were fairly busy at the time. Great that they open at 7am! A group of us went before work. All meals were fantastic, including the seasonal fruits bowl that I ordered. Would have no hesitation in recommending to others – the food in the cabinet looked great too!
I’ve been to Arabica three times and each time the service has been superb, the mochas are to die for and the food has been fantastic! During a busy morning tea period, it took only 5 minutes from when my order was placed for my coffee to arrive steaming hot. Fantastic!
