This place is bad – do not go there. I got a Groupy special too and took my parents who are in their 70s all the way from Waiheke – getting excited about being able to shout them lunch to say thanks for everything. What a shame we all left after hardly eating anything – in some cases not knowing what we didn’t finish. The place is like a foodhall, not a restaurant that I expected. Horrible food, can’t comment on service cause you helped yourself but I’m pretty sure the lady was looking at us often cause they knew that they had ripped off people with this deal and false advertising. $19 for two which is a good deal yes? Value of $47.60? No. You can walk in off the street and pay $12 for the same deal. False advertising. I’m not impressed.

We bought the voucher on Groupy as the pictures were extremely misleading. When we got there, there was literally less than 10 different dishes and most of them were just scampi shells and heads. When proper food came out, there was only just enough for one small amount for each customer and when you asked for more, they said no. This is a terrible place, if you’re considering to spend your money on food, I suggest you to use it somewhere that won’t disappoint you.

Am happy to recommend this restaurant for the quality of the food and the prices. Unfortunately, while I am all for more buffet restaurants, being right in the centre of Auckland makes parking for more than 10mins impossible. As such a takeaway is a good option, however as they now have only the buffet and nothing you can order, you are relying on what is on the buffet for your choice. So if this is your option make sure you are there when food is freshly made and plentiful and you wont be disappointed. The salads were different but really refreshing and I look forward to having them again. Hot dishes had plenty of flavour were hot (both in spice and temp) and most enjoyable. Thanks.
