A very disappointing experience. We got really poor customer service. My husband and I went here for dinner a few weeks ago. We ordered a main meal each and rice for 2. My husband’s meal and both bowls of rice were served. After sitting waiting 5-10 minutes expecting mine to arrive we asked where it was. They had not even started to cook it saying it had been missed – no apology. My husband finished his meal and we went to pay. You can imagine how surprised we were to discover we were charged for the second bowl of uneaten rice to go with the meal I did not get. When we suggested we should not have been charged we were told, by the lady who told us it was her restaurant, that the rice was served. I could only agree with that but our night out was completely spoiled. It could have been so much better if the mistake had been dealt with with customer in mind. After we had paid the bill the owner did offer to refund rice. A case of too little too late.

This is not a restaurant we will be going back to any time soon.

My husband and I ate here recently. The food was delicious and the portion sizes generous. One thing I hated though was that the restaurant was empty and the 3 couples inside were all seated together along the front windows (I’m guessing to give the restaurant an appearance of being full from the road)….I could hear every word the other diners were saying as I’m sure they could hear our conversation. There was more than ample space inside the restaurant to allow us all some privacy to enjoy our night out. I also thought it was really rude the way a staff member came out (during dinner service) and climbed up on top of a neighbouring table and proceeded to change lightbulbs…..surely this could have been done prior to opening! Hardly urgent.

I simply love this place, Wanda and the staff are wonderful and the food is delicious!!
