Ok im not sure what happened with the other reviews but we dined here and had a lovely waiter and as equaly lovely food. And must admit will go back again.

We had a terrible night here. We booked for dinner prior to the night in question. We booked a meal package. we were there for three hours and received only our main meal. Our children were served an hour before us so we had to try and keep them occupied for a ridiculous amount of time before we were served. No one even cleared our table, one of our kids ended up clearing there own table. No desert arrived at all and no one even came to tell us. We watched several smaller groups all come in be served their meals and leave before we even got anything. Finally I had had enough and decided to make a call and leave. We advised them we were not happy and that we expected an actual discount. All they offered was not being charged for most of the dessert, they didn’t even take off the whole price of the desert that we never received. I said we wouldn’t pay that much at which point they threatened to call the police. We asked to speak to the owner, he refused to come out. Totally gutless. Do not go here. I have spoken to other people who have had similar experiences. Do not go here even if it is the only place open. You will only be disappointed.

We booked at Babinka for our Mum’s 70th birthday on a Monday night for a reasonable sized group (3 tables) far enough ahead that they had time to be prepared. They had only one waitress on and the service was terrible. We waited hours for food, and no one cleared our tables, or took our desert order (part of our group package) – and when one of our group submitted our desert order (on account of waitress being to busy to even come over to our table) it took an hour before we realised it wasn’t even being prepared. When we tried to negotiate a better price considering we had sat there for almost 4 hours with terrible service and no desert – the manager wouldn’t front and they threatened to call the police if we didn’t pay full agreed price. Terrible service, terrible experience – will never go back.
