We have dined many times at Bamboo Garden. It is our restaurant of choice in Blenheim.

Pros: the service is excellent, the food is appropriately priced and served in decent meal-sized portions. The food never falls below our expectations. The menu offers good variety for a range of tastes, including many quality vegetarian options. The atmosphere is always buzzing and positive.

Cons: no fresh lime available for drinks (which is surprising in an Asian restaurant), the seats next to the window are unpleasantly cold (jackets recommended), you may be overcharged for corkage with BYO wine (keep an eye on it).

Overall: great dining experience and reliable service and food quality. You get what you pay for – your expectations are met/exceeded.
