Bang Bang is a kid-friendly cafe with excellent food and gourmet coffee where parents, kids and business people alike can co-exist without complaint.
We serve hot breakfast, with variety of juices, and lunch. We serve a variety of Coffee and Special Teas. If you are coming to us in Ponsonby do not worry about parking. We have ample free parking at the corner. You can leave the Kids in the play area and relax and enjoy your morning.

great service food was really good child friendly my kids had a blast would be going back oh and they smoke around the corner you can only see them unless your kid goes out side where they shouldnt be if your a good parent and free parking really handy

I hadn’t been back to Bang Bang cafe since last year as my visit then was pretty awful. It was absolutely filthy and the service and food was almost non existing! But I tried it again last week as I had heard they’ve changed ownership. And I’m so glad I did! The service was exceptional and the place was nice and clean with full of new exciting toys for the kids! I’ll definitely be back this time!

I know its supposed to be kid friendly – but is that an excuse for it to be filthy!!!!
We went along yesterday for lunchon a Sunday thinking it would be a good place to take our little munchkin,it was empty at 12.45 which should have been a giveaway really. They did have a good kids / babies menu and the adult food was okay…but the place was filthy and really messy. No fuss made over the little one, which defeats the purpose of going to a kiddie specific cafe really!
Also whilst we were there, every single staff member went outside for a smoke….not a good look for in front of children surely?
Can cross it off my list – we wont be going back.
