We had a really great lunch at this place over this Christmas break. Really impressed by the service of our waitress Kristen in particular and nice to have a chilled bottle of water immediately placed on our table before ordering. Lovely atmosphere and good size lunch specials on the menu. I would definitely eat here again and would recommend it to all. A good combination of nice food and attentive service makes this place a winner.

The first time I had been into the bank to eat not to dance. We got a large comfy booth which for the two of us was very nice. Staff were friendly, attentive and genuine. Our food was hot, fast, yummy and of a generous size. Very happy to recommend, the first time we’ve been out for dinner and left full and more than content. An inspired choice of music playing, a great environment.

Went for the $10 lunch as blackboard outside showed some nice meals. Waiter took our order for the meal which was fine, we hadn’t yet made our mind up for the drinks, so he said he’d be back in 5 mins.
20 mins later…he took our drinks order.
Some meals had the option of a side dish of fries or chips for an extra $3.50 which was fine. We all ordered a pizza each as we were really hungry, ordered a side of ‘curly fries’ we could all share.
All good and fine, pizzas were lovely with the small bowl of curly fries. Time to pay the bill and were charged $10 for the ‘small bowl’ of curly fries…Just about fainted. They cost more than the 200ml bottle of bubbly we ordered !!!!!!!! Questioned it, all the did was shrug their shoulders and say we were charged the ‘bar snack’ price… What a rip off !! Won’t be back. Could have bought 2 huge bags of potatoes for that horrendously overcharged price.

Went for lunch at The bank during a very busy lunch service, the staff managed very well with the work load and we were not left waiting too long. The lady who served us was helpful and attentive, the food arrived hot and we all enjoyed our meals. We would all be happy to eat there again and would recommend the bank to anyone wanting an affordable good meal.

Went there for a $10 lunch, great value for a great lunch! Both my boyfriend and I enjoyed the food and the service we received was good too. I don’t see why everyone is complaining. The atmosphere was lovely and food was hot and served within 10 minutes of ordering, exceptional speed with so many customers!

Tried their $10 lunch. Pizza was okay but vegetarian lasagna was a shame. Not in a rush to go back.

I will not be back, I have been to The Bank twice now for the $10 lunch menu and both times I have been less than impressed.

Last year in December visited for lunch, Burger was yummy, Pizza was a bit too saucy. Service disgraceful. Took 15 minutes to be served drinks and another 10 to have our orders taken. After that a 30min wait for food was unacceptable.

Second chance last week; Group of 8 for lunch. No meal was of acceptable quality. it took 40 minutes for our food to arrive, the waitress didn’t apoligise once, we had 2 pizzas on the table one was burnt and the other had to be redone as obviously was past what they viewed as ‘servable’ I would never go back here. What a dissappointment. Good bar to party in but will not eat here when there are plenty of other great restaurants just down the road.

Went to the Bank for lunch today. The $10 lunch menu is really good value for money. We had pizzas and there were really good. Great service too.

I went for dinner yesterday and arrived about 6. It was quite busy with about 75% of dining area full. The first waiter put me to one of the table and told me he would come back with the menu but he’s never return. I asked the second waitress for a menu and waited for ages but finally got it at about 6.30. I requested for water but by the time I finished my meal, I still didn’t get it! The staff didn’t seem to care. Food was ok, nothing great. There were so many flies on the table which really disgusting. What can I say…it’s one of the worst dining experience I have. Definitely won’t go back again.

The waitress was very rude and casual. She told us to hurry up with our order as they were going to get busy soon (which didn’t happen). One of my friends ordered nachos without the sour cream, but then received it with sour cream. The waitress said, quote “Well, you can have these ones or I can send it back to the kitchen but you’ll have to wait ages.” The waitress mucked up our orders several times, and we were left for 40 mins after finishing our mains, waiting to order dessert, before anyone noticed us. The food was decent (the pecan pie is amazing!) but unfortunately the service just ruined it for me. I won’t be back.

Great selection on the menu! The nachos & wedges with the works on the top…is always a favourite!
Always find the staff friendly! One negative…the bar staff need to learn how to make a “fluffy duck” they had no clue! Cheers!

The food is so absolutely divine every time, the customer service is really great and the music and atmosphere is so classy and relaxing.
AAA+++ every time!

Me and a family member went for a snack about 1ish the place had no customers except few ppl at the bar,we were invited in by a young man who paid full attention to us and his service was amazing! our meals took no time and the waiter was so polite and was not phased that we ruined his quiet afternoon, haha, would recommend!! and will be returning!

What a nice pleasure it was to receive service of such a high standard accompanied by a warm and welcoming smile. For anyone looking for a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere with great food, I recommend The Bank Bar & Brasserie.
