I used the Bard On Avon as my local watering hole when last in Christchurch, 3 years ago,. Came across it by accident whilst walking the streets looking for somewhere to have a drink. Atmosphere was great, food very acceptable, staff more tha obliging. Will be back in town mid May, and can’t wait to return for a glass or two by the open fire.
