I love Barzurk- pizzas are awesome and lots of toppings to choose from, great atmosphere, great service. The only bad thing is my experience with the pasta- the chicken tasted like day old, reheated leftovers But other than that, always a good experience!

I travel to Hamilton a lot for work and invariably end up at Barzurk for my evening meal. Always a warm welcome, prompt attention with the menu and drinks order. A spacious and unpretentious environment makes my personal space feel safe and table sizes cater for dining groups of all sizes.

The food is always divine. Every time I have dined and repeated a meal that was previously enjoyed, I am delighted by the same wonderful flavours. The steak is perfect, the pasta range satisfies the mood and the pizzas are clearly enjoyed by those around me.

Service is attentive, the ambiance warm and for this coming winter it is a safe dining haven. Go there and don’t be surprised with the good dining experience!!

Barzurk was astounding, great service, staff were attentive, hardworking and friendly. Food was exceptional well beyond expectations the pizza my partner had was huge (had to take a doggy bag home), my steak perfectly cooked A++ to the chiefs and Bazurk team .

Great food and Good service.

We had a large group of 10 people on a busy Friday Night.
The staff were friendly and made sure we all had drinks when required.
There was options on the Menu to cater for everyone and meals were presented well and enjoyed by everyone.

Have also had The Las Vegas Pizza and curly fries to takeaway and was very good also.

We dine at Barzurk regularly and think of it as our “local”. Ryan and his staff are really onto it. Very welcoming and friendly. The food is always very tasty and fresh. Last time I had the hot Steak Sandwich and my partner had a wonderful scallop, prawn and bacon salad. Yum. Prices are very reasonable and the atmosphere is relaxed and family friendly. Ryan makes a great flat white to round off a very pleasant meal.

Dined at Barzurk on Monday eve for celebration. We had voucher for 2 mains $29. Arrived 7pm as booked and had to wait until 8.10 for any food to be served.. Not sure if this was due to having vouchers. It did appear reasonably busy for a Monday. Was not given apology for the wait. Waitress was lovely but the Manager quite terse and didnt even ask if we had enjoyed the meal when paying for our drinks & salad as extras.
I thought the idea of the Vouchers was to gain business. I dont think so. Will not be returning.

Went here Friday night for a birthday dinner for a 14 year old, needed somewhere that adults and kids would both enjoy. Service was friendly if a little slow at taking drinks orders, the pizzas were tasty but the bases were too thick, not your typical ‘wood fired’ style pizza, was very surprised at the prices as well, agree with other reviewers, pizza’s are far too over priced and wouldn’t go back there because of it. All in all though a fine dining experience.

The staff are welcoming. Three enjoyable meals. Recommend the steak, chicken breast & pork fillet – all delicious, well cooked & presented. Pizza delicious, my husband had Sicily, perfectly cooked, toppings plentiful. Liked it so much we dined there 3 nights out of four. Dessert also gets the big tick, especially banana pizza & sticky date pudding. Visiting from Australia, will eat there again if we come bsck sometime. Added advantage is the carpark nearby as parking is hopeless in Hamilton, especially when its pouring rain. Peter & Jeanette

Came into Barzurk with my boyfriend and the place was packed! the food came out really fast and the meals were awesome! I had the pizza which was huge and so good and my boyfriend had the steak which was cooked perfectly. the staff were all really friendly and we will definitley be back. Well done guys no wonder you’ve been around so long and have such a wicked reputation.

Nearly every time ive been here for lunch it is empty. We dined here twice recently due to discount vouchers. I really think its that it is totally overpriced! The steak sandwich I had was very nice (although over priced). The pizza was very average and drowned in BBQ sauce(so if u like a BBQ sauce pizza its all good). The chicken pasta was tasty but the chicken very dry. An expensive lunch and when you compare to the $12 lunches on offer elsewhere I wont be back

What a welcoming friendly atmosphere I received when I walked through the doors, service was awesome the food looked as good as it tasted. I had the Memphis Pizza couldn’t believe how generous the toppings were, compared to most other restaurants I have dinned at, the Lemon Tart topped it off. Will be recommending this restaurant to all my friends.

We felt very welcome from the moment we were seated by the friendly staff.
There was a wide variety of food available in particular delicious pizza the food surpassed expections.
It was a very pleasant experience and we look forward to dining at Barzurk again.

My son and I are visiting from Sydney and had a fantastic meal at Barzurk Restaurant. The service was fautless and the range and quality of the food was superb. We will be going again before we go back.

This restaurant certainly looks better looking in from the outside than once inside.

While the wait staff were friendly and tried to be attentive, the service was very haphazard and they got our orders slightly wrong.

On the food side, my pizza was terrible – under-cooked and tasted ‘sloppy’, and my partner’s caesar salad lacked lettuce in relation to the chicken and bacon.

Also, prices do not reflect the quality of food or service.

Has the distinction of producing the worst plate of food I’ve ever been given in a restaurant. A pasta dish with a hideous sweet pesto (all you could taste was the sweetness) and some very tired seafood. The kitchen staff all appeared to have an average age of around 16 so perhaps that says it all! Wait staff were pleasant but a little unsure how to deal with the fact that our mains were inedible – the offer of a free coffee or dessert did little to hearten us!
