I broke my golden rule and ordered Fish and Chips from a Chinese Takeaway as this was the only place open on Christmas day. Having Chinese on the beach is just not kiwi.

We opted for the crumbed gurnard which had a rather thick crumbing but tasted great. I am not a big fan however of crinkle cut chips.

Worth a shot in a street with lots of options.
