Bazza’s Steak Out offers traditional Steakhouse with large salad valley. Old fashioned food with a modern twist and very generous portions.
“Bazza’s Steakhouse is doing a great job of maintaining the classic steakhouse tradition of offering generous portions of quality meat, cooked expertly with all the trimmings and none of the pretentions. Nice one Bazza!”

Fantastic meal. It was refreshing to see a Salad Bar with a choice of gluten free options.
Our entrĂ©e’s of Seared Scallops were large enough to be a main course on their own and cooked to perfection.
Thankfully, ‘doggy bags’ (artistically created) were available as the main meal was generously proportioned.
Great meal and service, we will most definitely be back.
Highly recommended.

Me and my boyfriend came here about a month ago, my boyfriend ordered ribs and i ordered scallops(an entree) as a main.
When my scallops arrived they were already cold, and i got about 5 tiny scallops. I was very disappointed as to me that is an entree size. i ate about 2 scallops and got heaps of salad from the salad bar instead. my boyfriend enjoyed his ribs.
Also very cramped, there was so much room in the restaurant yet everyone was squished together, i usually like to eat with the person I’m with not a room full of strangers. Definitely room for improvement on staff and the layout of the restaurant.

sensational yet again! Awesome service and really tasty steaks, I liken this place to the original Lone star and what they set out to do. Good stuff team! Will be back again soon and not just for birthdays/ special events.

Dined here several times, beautiful every time, meals can take a while when they are busy but they are worth waiting for, staff are friendly and the atmosphere is good, price wise ok and the desserts are yum, would recommend

Hands down the best restuarant in Pukekohe! Have been going for years and the quality has never changed. Excellent food and service. Went last friday night with a group of friends we all got our meals at the same time, correct orders, paid invidually with no errors is cost!! Highly recommend

We dined at Bazza’s on a Tuesday night, the kids could eat for free, which was a nice surprise on the bill. My steak was one of the most tender and well prepared steaks I have tried in such a long time.
We all loved look of the restaurant, its warming atmosphere and the waitresses served us nicely.
Bazza’s Steakhouse is pretty much as good as it gets and in Pukekohe, such a convenient location.

My family dined on Friday night at Bazza’s for the first time for my mothers birthday. What a wonderful experience both food and service was exceptional. I believe you can always tell a great restaurant when the Owner comes and clears your table and makes the effort of a conversation. We all had different meal options and there was certainly no complaints with the quality of the food and the table service was fantastic. I can’t wait to go back again and try something else off the menu.

Making the trip all the way from the Shore to Pukekohe is THE thing to do for our family celebrations. Bazza’s is a genuine, old-fashioned steakhouse with a lovely family atmosphere, but quality and presentation puts Bazza’s in a class of its own. My steak is ALWAYS perfectly flame-grilled, the calamari melts in the mouth, and don’t get me started on those decadent desserts! The food at Bazza’s makes my heart sing. Thank you, Adrian and crew, for a lovely evening. WE WILL BE BACK…again.

Wonderful meal… excellent service and this place goes just that bit more… put us at a table but asked after we were seated if we wanted the privacy of a booth..

great meal, fantastic top quality steak cooked right in front of your eyes. Would highly recommend this place to anyone, just might pay to book first as it can get quite busy.

The food here is so tasty, always leave satisfied, service is usually quite good and efficient however some staff seem a little rude and the salad bar is lacking. This is a small negative and I wouldn’t let it put you off visiting. I highly recommend any of the burgers with fries and mushroom sauce, the fried onion on top makes my mouth water. Go on an empty stomach to make sure you can eat it all.

We went to Bazza’s on Saturday night, we had a fantastic time with really good food and suburb service. The restaurant was full and there was a good vibe about the place. The meals were gorgeous and generous portions….true value for money. The wine too offered many good wine that I recognised. Good job Bazza’s we will be back!!

I have eaten at Bazza’s several times over the past year and have enjoyed each meal immensely. The service has always been good and the staff friendly and helpful. I usually have the scallops as a starter and they have been absolutely delicious each time. During my most recent meal at Bazza’s (just over a week ago), my dining companions had the crumbed mushrooms, the mini ribs and the Bazza’s Loaf as starters and assured me that all tasted really good. We had steaks for our main course and these were cooked to absolute perfection. I had the Bazza’s Rump, medium rare, and the meat was juicy, tender and full of flavour. My companions had the Scotch Fillet, the Mushroom Cheddar Melt steak, and the Roquefort Steak (topped with a heavenly combination of blue cheese and fig sauce with cruncy bacon pieces – I was grudgingly allowed to have a little taste!). All were very happy with their meals – in fact the lack of talking at our table as we tucked in attested to the superb quality of the food! After our main meal we decided that we didn’t have much space for dessert, so we ordered coffees and a single serving of the “Heavenly Chocolate Pot” that we shared. It might look small, but this mousse packs a flavour punch! It is rich and creamy (made with imported Belgian chocolate,as our waitress told us) and complemented the coffee perfectly. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening at Bazza’s and will definitely be returning to try some of the other steaks on the menu. We travelled from Cockle Bay area (Manukau City)and it was worth the commute. Thank you, Bazza’s, for a wonderful dining experience!

We are regulars at Bazzas, with us dining there 3 to 4 times a week! Being South African and knowing much we love meat, this is the BEST place to get a good steak, cooked to perfection everytime! Wonderful family restaurant which provides colouring in for the kids and leaves mums and dads to enjoy some time to catch up and relax over a few drinks.
Always welcomed with a smile and exceptional service on arrival. The owner of Bazzas already knows us by name and we have our regular table we are always placed at when booking. The staff are happy to go the extra mile with any special requests.
Thank you once again for another excellent dining experience last night and we will be sure to be back over the weekend!!!

Arrived at Bazza’s early. Service upon arrival was attentive. The place was quite busy and the atmosphere was relaxed. My wife and I had a drink at the bar. The evening went off to a good start.
We were seated at a table in the middle of the restaurant. Foot traffic from one side of the restaurant had to walk between our table and the adjacent one to get to the toilet (Which we were quite close to). This was slightly off putting.
Our waitress arrived with the Menu promptly. We ordered Entrees and mains at the same time. The first thing that we noticed was that the menu prices were more than stated on this website. We had actually read the reviews on this site before going there. Our normal Steakhouse of choice is in the Auckland CBD.
The entrees arrived and were quite small in size. The taste however was quite nice. We finished the entrees and then waited for our mains…. and waited…. and waited….. This was basically when the night started heading downhill fast.
We sat there without drinks or service. The waitresses walked by seemingly so busy as to not notice us there. I tried to hail a waitress on 5 occasions to no avail. It would seem that we had entered a kind of twilight zone. I finally got hold of a waitress by raising my voice and half getting out of my seat.
I enquired as to the whereabouts of our mains. I was told that she would find out and before i had the chance of asking for drinks, she trotted off on another errand. When she finally came back to the table with word on our mains i almost walked out. We were told the main was on its way. The time from when we had *Finished* our entree and the time the mains were put on our table was 50 minutes. In that time we had no service at all. Other tables had been served and some had left the restaurant already.
The mains were of a good size. I did not realise that when they asked if you what sauce you would like that the sauce would actually be bigger than the steak. The steak was served on a hotplate. It was not hot however as the sauce had dealt to that. The steak was almost like it was stewed in sauce. I know it wasn’t as i saw the chef cooking them. The amount of sauce though was so overwhelming that the poor steak almost needed a life jacket. The fries were quite nice though.
We then ordered desserts and a coffee and Hot chocolate. The coffee and Hot chocolate arrived before the dessert. By this time i was totally underwhelmed with the event that i did not bother asking where the desserts were. The coffee was OK. The hot chocolate was so watered down that it almost passed for a warm water. The desserts arrived. I do not recommend the Chocolate Pot as it is a little bigger than a chocolate mouse pot from Hell pizza. It is basically as a chocolate mouse with a fancy name (And price – Remember the prices are more than stated on this site).
I would recommend bypassing this restaurant. If you have dined at a proper steakhouse then you will definitely not be happy going to Bazza’s.

Read the reviews before I went and think that Bazza’s is better than the reviews reflect!
Lovely, friendly staff, prompt service, lovely food and big meals! What more could you ask for!
Will definitely be back!

What a meal!!
This was the best steak that I have ever had. I had the eye fillet, and it melted in my mouth. The rest of the party were as impressed with their meals as I was. We when through to Bazza’s as a large of 12 people. The service was spot on, friendly and attentive without being over bearing.
It is good to see that we have such a fantastic restaurant on our doorstep.
We will be back

Have enjoyed dining at Bazza’s on a number of occasions with friends. Good service, wonderful food and my gosh, the size of those steaks.
Have no problem traveling from Auckland City to this restaurant for a good meal.

Did you eat at this restaurant? Have an opinion to share?

They have excellent staff and the owner is so friendly. They do fantastic meals but unfortunately the wait times can vary. Sometimes you only wait 10mins sometimes 40mins(yes – during their busy time). Well they are always busy really.
Otherwise it’s still a great place to get a mean steak!
