Time of order: 11:30am

Order: Long Black and Carrot Cake to go.

Coffee: Allpress Beans, not the worst extraction – certainly not the best. No crema.

Cake: Very dry. Tasted distinctly of baking soda (really not yum). Icing wasn’t too sweet, actually pretty good – but really just there to take away from terrible cake.

Service: Surly girl took a long time to acknowledge me (only customer in shop). She was not doing anything else either. Seemed to be waiting for me to talk to her – not good customer service.

I asked how her day was going and she said pretty good. Did not return the small talk.

I ordered coffee and cake, which was the special on the blackboard “large coffee and cake $6″, I was charged $6.70, and got a small coffee.

I asked for cash out from eftpos, she said she couldn’t. I said ok.

Very awkward. Didn’t make me feel welcome. Didn’t enjoy product. Won’t be back.
