I have never reviewed a cafe or restaurant before but I just had such a bad experience at Bite Cafe I had to comment. I just spent 30 minutes ordering my lunch during my busy lunch hour. Considering there was only one person in front of me I think that is pretty ridiculous. The guy who served me said he was in training and I felt bad nobody helped him because he screwed up my order so many times and had no idea where to find any of the food. After paying $18 for a drink, small salad and small pie I feel totally ripped off especially seeing the potatoes in my salad are basically raw. My server had no knowledge of the food, sizes, drinks or how to work the till. Older ladies were not served the entire time even though they were in wheel chairs and they seemed to be 6 or 7 staff moping around. Seeing this is situated in Auckland’s largest department store I would expect better…
