We ate at this cafe a couple of times and were totally impressed with the food both times. Everything we had was presented beautifully and tasted delicious. I would highly recommend this cafe to anyone visiting the Naseby area. You won’t be disappointed!

We dined here mid 2010 and experienced wonderful service from friendly staff. The cafe has a very cosy atmosphere during winter and they serve up some delicious food – including the best brownie I have ever tasted!

It is very rare that you can visit a food establishment and have a complete dining experience. But this cafe has it all! The cafe has a lovely welcoming and relaxing atmosphere, ALL the staff give everyone and warm friendly greeting and excellent service. The food is good honest homestyle cooking where flavour and quality have not been sacrificed. And the coffee is the best! Yes, we tried their famous Brownie and now know why it’s famous…Yuuuuuuummy!

If this is the establishment that is perhaps 50 meters up the street from the Royal Hotel Naseby, I highly recommend it. I had lunch there in 2006 and the cuisine was the equal of any elegant restaurant in Christchurch and better than many of them. (I was visiting from North America and had sampled a number of Chch establishments.) Reasonably priced too.
