The grumpy older woman behind the coffee machine didn’t bode well, and sure enough the coffee was mediocre at best. The food was ok, but not worth the cost. The best thing was the service by the other younger staff: very friendly and efficient.

Not in a rush to go back here (other than perhaps to buy one of their very good pies).

Good coffee great pies and good place for kids. I love the millionaire brownies they have, best brownie ever. I’m taking of one star because I went there the other day and ordered two millionaire brownies takeaway, instead I was given two plain brownies. I did not realise this till I got to my destination and I went back to get them replaced with what I paid for. They did so with no hassles but it was still an inconvenience in regards to petrol use age. Other than that its a great place and I will be back plus I have been recommending it to friends

Come on BlueBell ! What’s happened? Hopefully a one off as we LOVE BlueBell normally !
We ordered an adult stack of pancakes with bacon and banana .
Granted it was busy but after 1/2 hours we got soggy pancakes on the outside and uncooked batter in the middle my kids would not eat. It was powdery, chewy, batter and inedible.
We asked the waitress to take it back and she asked if we wanted it reheated ?!!!!!
No can you redo it please .
When it returned it was 1/2 the portion we paid for . 1/2 banana 3/4 of pancake and 1/2 bacon.

We asked for our money back and left.
Poor form Blue Bell!

What is wrong with New Zealand hospitality industry ?

I think you need to change your philosophy.

Hi, this is by far my favourite cafe. Have visited on numerous occasions and have tried different menu items, can’t wait to try the pizza! The food is delicious, best pies ever and the service is outstanding.

Visited last week and will go back again ! The pizza was yummy from the base up. Liked the coffee too as it wasn’t bitter and came hot.
Like the choice of gluten/dairy free options.

This is the best place I’ve ever eaten at. The food was fantastic. The service efficient, polite and helpful (with smiles). The cost was the icing on my day out with my family. Between us, we had a variety of foods and drinks. Children are well catered for. Even the tea cups are heated. We will definitely be coming again in future visits to the capital.

Absolutely love this place. Have been 3 times in the last couple of weeks. Delicious mango smoothies (highly recommend) and their cabinet food is reasonably priced and scrummy Staff are awesome too really friendly

Just nailed a F69 pizza, fantastic pizza, great service and “I’ll be back”

2 mince and cheese pies which were average and a smoothie which was super watery and a strawberry milkshake that was half full, and it cost $21.00??! not cool, won’t be back, its a shame as it seemed like a cool place and the staff were friendly. I was disappointed

This place makes great mince and cheese pies, delicious coffee and has a great atmosphere. I’m keen to go back to try the pizzas!

Great pizza try the mount vic chick all of the ingredients are fresh and blue belle has good pricing for what you get especially big breather. The staff are nice and it is much better than the cafes that used to be there.

Brunch is a must – especially the salmon eggs Benedict!
Gluten free brownie was superbly amazing. Service both times was fantastic so I’ll be back!

I visited the Blue Belle over the weekend, after hearing so much about it.

Absolutely love the menu and the coffee must be some of the best I’ve tasted in Wellington!

Very friendly and helpful staff, you can see there is passion at Blue Belle. Especially the charming South African guy made me feel right at home with his professional and warm nature!

Would highly recommend.
