I recently stopped at the Boat Shed Cafe whilst taking clients out to Abel Tasman National Park. Fully aware that there would not be much on the culinary side at our destination in Kaiteriteri I made a last minute decision to stop for some classic Kiwi Kaimoana (seafood). Before lunch we had stopped at a local brewery so we were all in the mood for some mussels, groper and whitebait fritters. The seafood did not disappoint as we chowed down and consumed everything on our plates. Make sure you get a table out on the balcony so you can enjoy your food whilst looking out into Tasman Bay and the Pacific Ocean.

One of my favourite restaurants in Nelson. Great food, friendly staff and good atmosphere. Love the location too!

We decided to have an early dinner on Saturday night (19 January 2009)at your restaurant.
The food was absolutely delicious, but the quantity was not enough.
However, our main disappointment was that we thought that the atmosphere and service was rather frozen.
