We had a take-away meal and it was absolutely amazing!
The onion bhaji was delicious, made into ball shapes and with a yummy mint yoghurt sauce,
We had the chicken jalfrazi hot and a medium lamb rogan and both were cooked to perfection with plenty of flavour, colour and spice. There is plenty of kick to these curries so not a good choice if you’re not into spice.
We would drive from the city especially for this Indian food!

I love this place. So much that they recognise my voice when I ring – a bad sign…..
The Chicken Tikka Masala is the best in NZ – proper chicken breast and nice tomato based sauce with a bit of a kick and lots of coriander. Not swimming in grease and not creamy. The trouble is, it makes it hard to order anything else.
But I can confirm the Lamb Saagwala, Prawn Malabari and Lamb Nabharin (or something like that) are all also excellent. Pakora is ok too but not a fan of the onion bhaji. Naan is pretty good although have had better in Auckland.
Wonderful people with great service – and cheaper than some of the overpriced options nearby. Go and check it out.

Definitely some of the tastiest Indian food we’ve had in some time. Entree and Mains were beautiful and perfectly spiced. Let down by the rice – flavour just wasn’t quite right, and not getting the mango chutney we ordered and paid for. Next time we’ll try dining in…
