I have dined at Bond Shanghai Cuisine twice and I can’t stress what great value for money this restaurant is. Most of dishes are relatively cheap considering the quality of the ingredients used as well as the skills of the cooking.
Shanghai cuisine is famed for the use of sugar and lightness in its taste. So the dishes are not greasy and heavy, but light and delicious. For starters, try the cucumber as it is fresh and gets your appetite started. On both occasions we ordered the fried tofu and it was fantastic.
In short, give it a go. I think you would be pleasantly surprised (taste and value).
