Reasonably priced, fresh and decent quantities. Staff are nice and chipper too. Can’t go wrong with this place. Best-value fish I know of in the area.

This is my first review, and I made a special point to make one for this place, as I think they’re awesome.

I’m shocked at seeing some of the other reviews though, as this place more than exceeds my expectations. I’ve been here three times now in the last 2 months and every time I’ve been I’m just blown away by how tasty, juicy and awesome the gourmet burgers are! (I’m slowly working my way through the menu list…!)

For the deep-fry they use only rice bran oil, which is great for those of us who are concerned about that sort of thing. The times we’ve been it’s never been dripping, never too oily and never too salty… honestly the best I’ve ever tasted

My partner and I started going here since we were getting so sorely disappointed in Burger Wisconsin down the road – now we won’t even bother going there, it’s Bonzo Burgers all the way!

If the chip portions are small I’ve never noticed it, as we are always full after eating our meal, and usually there are chips left over… I like to finish my meal with their pineapple fritters as they are just fab!!

I’ve been coming here for about 15 years and while they seem to have started cutting their serving sizes(especially chips – 1 scoop is not very much), they still do a good burger for a greasy takeaway joint.

If you’ve ever tried Bonzo Burgers in the days of old… its way different now! The chips were overcooked bordering burnt, as were the chicken nuggets. My favourite steak, egg and cheese toastie no longer comes with lettuce, tomato and mayo… actually no dressing at all so very dry indeed. The scallops were a hit with the bread winner however so not all lost! I don’t recommend it though and will not go again… the good ole days of Bonzo Burgers are well and truly gone. Disappointed…. =(

Bonzo is a great man who runs a highly successful and enjoyable fish n chippery. His burgers are juicy, fries ample and crispy, fritters delicious, and his spling loll – don’t even get me started on those.

He’s the best. Thanks Bonzo, we’ll be coming back.

the chips is very nice but the only problem is that they dont give us that much, the quantity is too small and also we have to buy tomato sauce and it’s kind of expensive…….
