I love this restaurant! The food is delicious and well priced. The service is great and I always leave satisfied. To top it off, its byo!
The special board gives lots of options and changes every few months, I recently had the Beef Bourguignon and my partner had the steak. They were both of a standard that I am used to paying much more for.
The best place to eat in Kingsland by far

We ate here a few months ago now, and unfortunately we can only remember the French Onion Soup, which was pink and watery and did not have many onions. It’s probably a bit unfair to judge a restaurant by one dish, but it’s unlikely that we will be returning.

Came here for after a friend recommended. I was impressed. Food was really yummy and I couldn’t help but feel that I was in France. Loved the decor and service was friendly and prompt. Place was jam packed on a sat. Will definitely return.

On a Friday night a few weeks ago I went to Bouchon for dinner with a group of friends. There were 4 of us and we got there around 9pm. Since it was a rather late dinner we got a table without booking in advance, but there were still plenty of people around.
It was our second visit. The first time we went there we had lunch instead of dinner. Obviously we were impressed thus we returned for another meal.
I had an escargot entree, steak for main and toasted coconut crepes for dessert. It cost me around $42 for the three course dinner including a shared large tartines. Great value I reckon. The crepe alone would make me go back for more. The escargot was prepared in red wine and although not what I had in mind (I didn’t read the menu carefully) I quite like its taste.
By the way it’s BYO for those who enjoy wine.

Fantastic food & atmosphere. We were there for first day of the new beaujolais season and it was buzzing. Even an accordian player later on! Well worth a visit.

Did you eat at this restaurant? Have an opinion to share?

The food tasted like the chef had no idea what he was doing. The sauces tasted as though someone had poured a bottle of wine in and not cooked it at all. My steak was tough and everything was generally underwhelming.
The service was very slow, but we could forgive that if the food had been decent. At $99 a head for a three course set meal, we expected much more. Even at normal prices (around $30 per main) the standard was very very poor.
Would not recommend.
