The Brewery Briotmart is a brew-on-site gastro pub serving NZ craft beers and very soon our own beer creations served directly from the serving tanks. Our food menu incorporates fresh and local ingredients wherever possible and is designed to incorporate beer and food paired with beer.
Located in the historic old Britomart Hotel at 69 Customs St East The Brewery Britomart is the oldest buildings in Auckland still housing a trade for which it was built.
Come check it out, we have anything the beer enthusiast can wish for, really!

Went the first time to Brewery on a friend’s recommendation one month ago. Clearly a place where the locals like to hang out. Since I have been here many times so felt it was about time I placed a review!
Last time, went on a Saturday night, there was a good buzz as usual. Good band as well to dance!
Excellent food, a good new menu to match with their very unique home brew beers (Custom 69, my favorite, an Indian pale).
Tried the veggie platter, to share with my boyfriend. Yummy yummy (full of colour and flavour), then tried their special of the day, a slow cooked lamb shank casserole (with lamb consommé jelly). Was very tasty and with a nice presentation for a “pub food”, really really surprise!
I’m generally crazy with sweet and desert… I was in paradise! Tried the caramel, chocolate and peppermint tart, now just want to go back at the brewery for this desert! Matched that with a Black Rose (stout plenty of body and roasty malt flavours).Yummmmmm!
Would definitely recommend for a group of friends, cool place to chill with good ol’ buddies, for dinner, snack or just beers !!!

The staff were very hospitable and attentive (this is almost as important as the food I find these days). And I decided I would have the ribs and was very glad I did! A lovely portion of them and cooked perfectly – the meat just slid off the bone. I was very happy with them (even more so as the last restaurant I ordered ribs at was bitterly disappointing).
Topped a great dinner off with a “taste tester” of four beers – and I’ll definitely be back for more of that!

I’d unreservedly recommend the food and BEER here.
The decor and ambiance area little basic, but this is a start-up venture. Keep focusing on the food and beer. You can’t go wrong.

The place was buzzing with most of the tables occupied. The menu was more upmarket than the usual pub grub and the prices were good. I ordered the Pepper Crusted Venison Fillet and my friends ordered BBQ Pork Spare Ribs, Margarita Pizza, Salmon Marinated in Citrus and Pilsner and side of Fries. My Venison was melt in the mouth variety and everyone enjoyed their meals. It was unanimous that their rustic chips was one of the best and the meals were generous. Service was friendly and the waitress checked a couple of times to see if we were enjoying the meal. One of my friends ordered the Beermisu (interesting variation in Tiramisu) for dessert and said it was tasty.
Overall the place had a good friendly atmosphere with excellent inspired menu and reasonable pricing. We look forward to going back to try out their new brew.
