Very nice meal, all 4 of us guests were happy with our dish and with the service. A lovely, clean, restaurant , we’re looking forward to our next visit.

Went to the Bridge for dinner last and was totally appalled with the service we received from our very sullen and grumpy waitress. It was an effort for her to actually make any conversation with us, not even a smile, let alone tell us the fish of the day. There were four of us dining and not one of us was completely happy with our meal. It would not be a restaurant that I would recommend to anyone and we feel that your wait staff need some lessons on customer service…..there was none from our waitress!!!!

I wouldn’t consider going back to this restaurant again. There was no service at all, only one lady working in the restaurant/bar area. I had to go to the counter to grab the menu, then go back to the counter again to place my order. When I need a spoon, again had to go back to the counter to ask for assistance. My Thai Green curry was OK. The pork belly sandwich that Mum ordered was really nice. Overall, the food was nice, but services was just too disappointing … this lady was chatting to another girl (who appeared to be wearing black uniform, but doesn’t seem to be working at the restaurant) – as the two of them were chatting at the bar the whole time and eating their lunch … couldn’t careless about the customers. Would not recommend this restaurant at all based on the level of services we get from them, which was zero effort from the staff.

Very disappointing. Three of us went to The Bridge this evening for an evening meal. We all ordered the Thai Beef salad. Unfortunately the meals were all inedible due to big chunks of gristly beef that were impossible to cut or chew. We asked the waitress to let the kitchen know but they didn’t seem the least bit bothered and still charged us full price for the three meals. A complimentary drink or desert would have been a welcome gesture. We had to call at the supermarket on the way home as we were all still hungry. Would definitely not go there again.

Booked in for evening meal last night. Hadn’t been for quite a while. Very busy with bar and restaurant both full. Food was excellent with average prices but generous servings. Had pork rib entree and Surf n Turf main followed by Affagato desert. Wife had Chicken main which was also top quality. Service was excellent and attentitive despite being very busy. A little slow between courses, which was understandable, but we weren’t in a hurry so didn’t matter to us. Only comment was that staff did not ask how our meal was.
Definately recommended!

went for sunday lunch with three others, had the corn fritters, was absolutely delicious, nice atmosphere, we sat out in the sun, and had a relaxing time. The others had cajun salad and chicken parmegiana. The service was good, not too intrusive, and allowed us extra time when we couldn’t decide what to have.
A nice place, would definitely recommend, for a sunday afternoon

I have been a number of times over the last 8 years and it used to be my favourite restaurant living in the area was so handy. But the last 3 occasions I would not recommend it to anyone. Sunday 2 friends and I went for lunch. The meal was not good not enough gravy, one plate had no potatoes and there was no apple sauce very peppery to go with the roast pork.

No one asked if we enjoyed our meals and the service was very disappointing

Went to the Bridge last week and very unimpressed with my meal. Got the chicken sandwich – the chicken and bacon must have been prepared. it took less than 15 minutes for the meals to come out and the chicken and bacon had the look that it has been sitting for a while and not freshly prepared. it was cold and was like rubber so could not eat it and even the fries had the look that they have been cooked earlier. based on the meal we did not order coffee or desert and went down the road for that. very disappointed and with only a few people there cannot see why chicken, bacon and fries have to be prepared in advance. Won’t be going back and that is a shame as it is a great looking venue. Come on try harder please ….

We went there with a table of 8. had booked in advance but was scaled for being 5 mins late. service was appalling, no drink orders taken, cutlery was thrown at the end of the table for us to distribute amongst ourselves then we were asked to leave 2 hours into our night as they had double booked our table. will never attend this restaurant again. it’s a pity because the food is wonder, full credit to the chef for it not being a complete waste of our time.

We stopped off at The Bridge for lunch. Rolled in at just gone 3pm and the place was empty but they were still happy to serve lunch. My wife and I had the Beef & Mushroom Hotpot and my son had the Lamb Shank on Mustard Mash. All dishes arrived after around 20 mins and piping hot. The food was delicious although i’m not sure a salad garnish really goes with hotpot & fries, maybe some cooked veg would of been better! The bar person was nice although a little distant and disinterested, our finished plates were still on our table 40 mins after we’d finished eating when we left. There was also no followup “How is/was your meal?”

Overall a good experience, the food was very nice and a good size for a lunch serving. The bar area was clean, the service was quick, entertainment voucher readily accepted and the
Macs cider on tap was a nice surprise.

Have eaten here before. Always good. Tonight with a birthday group. Food excellent, service great, attention to detail overwhelming: Without requesting it a special treat for the person concerned was organised. Very impressed!

Went on 30 June 2008 with 2 friends.
Everything we ordered was delicious especially the pork belly. We even got tempted to have a dessert – thank goodness we did because they were yummy too. Service was great. A really nice place to go. Good food at a good price. Would recommend

Hi, I disagree with Helen, I thought it was a nice restuarant good service and the waiting times were fair. I think go there, give it a go. It isn’t 5 star but it is not supposed to be a 5 star retuarant. It is a really nice place to go as a family I think (both young and old) it beats the usual pubs etc, similar to Lone Star but without the brand name I guess!
