Hello. We always stop at your cafe when driving north. Recently a neighbor did the same and returned to Wellington with a solar powered butterfly for the garden which she bought at your cafe and which we are all envious of.

Do you still sell them and is it possible to buy one on-line?

Thankfully I ignored Campbell live – such a relief to have access to great coffee outside of Wellington – and their service was so quick!. Great food selection, something for everyone, and smiley staff – I would definitely return

I agree on boycotting this cafe not only are they obviously mean spirited but they make terrible coffee!! Which let’s be real is the reason we stop at a cafe. So if you are after a good coffee look elsewhere. Maybe if you were nicer to people someone might teach you some barista skills seems to me all you have done is gained bad karma.

Brown Sugar Cafe is a great reason to stop for a break when driving through Taihape. Very similar in design to Brown Sugar in Otaki, the decor is warm and inviting. I had a cheese and basil pesto danish followed by ginger pistachio slice with my coffee – very enjoyable, if a little pricey.
