I worked at this Burger Fuel a few years back when they had a different store manager & I still go in from time to time for lunch. The owner of the Albany store also owns a few other stores in Auckland and is great to deal with if you every have a complaint (I’ve seen it first hand). This Burger Fuel has recently been redecorated and it looks great. The staff are pretty ‘cool’ like in most of the Burger Fuel stores. The food is always good and cooked nice and quick. The hambugini diablo is my favourite. Worth a try, the redecorated interior is fantastic.

Bad burger fuel! Drive to another one! I ordered the beetnik which came without beetroot! and it was supposed to have melted chedder and it wasn’t. The large spud fries were half full… worst burger fuel I’ve ever been to.

I LOVE this restaurant….they have the best vegetarian burgers, they are very conscious of this fact, so cook the veggie patties in their own grill away from the meat…. that is amazing in NZ! The meat burgers also seem excellent…just not personally eaten any!! Ask for a duffer when you go!
