Amazing food and so worth the price, burgers are massive and are really tasty and full of flavour, love it with a side of chips and aioli.
Favourite burger is the burnout(chicken).

For the amount you spend its good bang for your buck. The portion sizes and variety is fantastic. Shame it is so loud, and one of the staff was getting bullied by another staff member. What a bad look.

I love Burgerfuel! Their burgers are amazing. I usually get the Basic Chick combo, since I usually can’t manage to finish one of the big burgers. The only problem I had was with the service, which can be a bit off at times; but otherwise a great place if you’re looking for a good burger =)

Burgers do not come any better than here. Burger Wisconsin is close, but no. They also don’t have the spud fries and aioli dip. OMG, it’s perfect.

i give it 5 stars for what it is, a burger place.
i’m a vegetarian, and hadn’t had a burger in a while. i was delighted with the options (about four, twice as many as an average omnivore restaurant, plus a vegan option). i wasn’t expecting much, but was pleasantly suprised. the chickpea patty was delicious (as good as i make), and the chips were yummy, especially with aeoli. although i didn’t like the extra charge on the aeoli. i liked the chunky cut chips, they were amazing.
the burgers were really massive, and i felt so full after lunch i didn’t even have dinner that night. i would really recommend getting a smaller burger, i think they’re under ‘lighter option?’
in all, thought it was great. quality burgers, and i’m definately going back.
ooh, AND they’re a nz owned burger chain!

Last visit here didn’t do justice to the meals I have had here previously. The fries were so oily it was dripping off them and they were soaked through. I sent them back telling them their oil must be the wrong temp. and the next ones were just as bad. My chicken in the burger also had a lot of skin and fat on it – I have eaten here so many times before and it has always been really fresh and healthy tasting. The burger was horrid, I had to pick the fatty skin off the chicken!
best burger you can ever get!!fresh and testy!

Had a basic 1/3 pounder with cheese. Very fresh ingredients with large sesame bun. Its nice to have a bun that tastes like real fresh bread not plastic! Premises clean, staff friendly. But no difference in presentation between eat in and takeaway – not even a tray given.

Been here many a time, they accept phone orders as sometimes it can be a bit of a wait.
Great vegetarian and vegan options so for those of you vegies out there who haven’t had a burger take out in eva, I do recommend you check these guys out – and yes lovely fresh ingredients.

- Charlie Sheen
Clearly Charlie knew what was up when it came to his craft. He’s a warlock. He’s got Adonis DNA and tiger blood flowing through his veins. He’s also banging 2 hot chicks and seven grams of rock, probably at the same time.
Yet, I can’t really say the same for Burger Fuel burgers. For my first burger in Wellington since my arrival a month back, I wanted something good. Good beef, good value, good buns. What I got was a large, bland, rubbery piece of meat between two stale buns.
My “Bio Burger” came with beets (beetroot), a fried egg, lettuce, tomatoes and tons of mayo. I actually thought the beets and fried egg were the best part of the burger. This should not be! Where is the tiger blood and Adonis DNA (aka BEEF)??? The meat should stand out in a burger, not its accompaniments. My piece of rubbery, flat, bland, overcooked burger patty tasted as exciting as a boiled potato.
Speaking of which, all was not lost. The fries (chips) were nicely crisped, good amount of salt and tasted quite heavenly straight out of the fryer. I have to give a Charlie Sheen shout-out to the fries. They were bi-winning.
I am now on a quest for the best burger in Wellington. Burger shacks, you have been warned.
