This is a great little restaurant. Familiar dishes always cooked to perfection and some interesting variations on the specials board if you feel like something different. Friendly atmosphere, sensible prices, and consistently good food. What more do you want?
Cilantro is a refreshing change from all those modern, clinical restaurants. This place is definitely born of love! Great vine trellis. I went for the seafood chowder cos I’d heard it was good. And so it is. You can even eat the bowl – it’s a crusty bread roll!
Having had dinner at Cilantro on my Birthday I can recommend it for an enjoyable overall experience. The menu is composite but varied, with a few house specialties that are just that little bit different. The seafood chowder which my husband devoured with relish comes in its own baked bread bowl – I had the scallops and prawns which arrived looking good enough to enter in a race day competition. The ambience is delightful, service attentive and entertaining – a good place to relax and enjoy good times.
