Have known flora, franco, roberto and emilio for years and to this day they serve one of the best italian cuisine in the north island. They are so friendly and passionate about there restaurant that the quality of service and food are exceptional. we now reside in wellington but always make a special visit to this lovely restaurant when we travel up north. Pasta lovers you must try there fetuccine its to die for and for the pizza lovers you will not find better pizza anywhere than cafe express! so if anyone reads this review and happens to go through waiouru do yourselves a favour and stop in you wont regret it!!!!

Superb coffe tastiest pizza I have ever eaten, and super people:) the pizza especially … Yum, light, tasty base, tasty fresh ingredients, cooked to perfection! Next time I’m traveling through waiouru pizza and coffee are on my menu … Many thanks:)

Always a warm welcoming environment, if you want to eat in or take away you will always be met with a smile and fantastic food! The whole menu is yummy but the pizza I think personally is the best! totally authentic Italian pizza.
