Our social club popped into this cafe for lunch on Sunday 29 Jan 2012. As usual, it was really busy but we managed to find a small table (it wasn’t warm enough to sit outside).
I ordered poached eggs on toast – it was a good price ($8) and arrived quickly – but on first view it didn’t look great. The eggs were very watery and the slices of toast were different thicknesses. However, once I tucked in, it tasted divine!
Another of our party had ordered a slice of carrot cake. At over $6 we thought it was a bit pricey… until it arrived. It was HUGE! She said it was delicious.
We’ve had brunches here before and not been disappointed. We’ll be back.

Great food, quick service with food cooked as ordered. Prices are reasonable. Nice surrounds & you can sit outside. If you are watching your weight keep clear of the cakes, they are huge & very yummy.

Food is amazing, great service, very fast and prompt.
Food is reasonably priced. Overlooking a little Japanese Zen garden out the back. Not too noisy or loud.

Based on the first review we decided to have a birthday brunch for a group of six adults and 2 preschoolers. The food was excellent as was the service. Awesome – Thank-you

What a find this was! A friendly cafe found in Pataka, next to the library. Each time I have been, with two small children, have always felt welcome. The food is divine; always fresh, you wont find a limp salad here! Each dish is carefully put together and is a culinary delight. Lots of bright colours and flavours. And the fruit salad is to die for. Generous portions too. They sell some fantastic coffees, milk shakes and smoothies. You simply have to try it – my only complaint is that I dont get to eat there as often as I would like!!!
