We’ve eaten here on a number of occasions. Really fresh tasty food, good vegetarian options and value. A bit run down,but clean.

The building is a bit run down, but don’t let this put you off. The food is excellent. We had mixed vegetarian kebabs, baklava and apple tea. The ingredients were very fresh, staff were friendly and the had an “Excellent” grade council food hygiene certificate.

Good vegetarian selection.

If you think food court Kebab’s are good you probably won’t like Cafe Laz. You probably won’t recognise the taste. I’ve tried every Kebab house in Wellington and loads in other parts of Wellington region and none come close to this place. Everything is made fresh and the flavours are beautiful. The owners are lovely too. If you haven’t tried it do yourself a favour and try the mixed Vegetarian. I’ve turned carnivores veggie at this place! It’s that good.

I am moving overseas soon and Cafe Laz will be what I miss most about Wellington.

We are always greeted with a smile and the owners seem to take pride in what they do. Personally, I think the shish plates are the best thing on the menu, but it all looks good.

Just moved to Wellington and was very happy to find this cafe down the road. The service was great (with smiles) and the food was delicious, prices were reasonable too. Highly recommended!
