Walking past and liked the look of the menu, so called in for lunch. Very good menu, good vegetarian options, and carnivores kept happy too. I had haloumi on ratatouille which was very good, and the other 2 had the staek burger (divine, apparently) and apple cinnamon toast, also enjoyed. Service good, would definitely come again.

Being a big fan of Japanese food I leaped at the opportunity to try somewhere new, so joined them for dinner at Leafee on a Friday night.
We arrived and were promptly seated and given menus, and found a delicious selection of both more traditional and western influenced Japanese food to choose from. Really appreciate a Japanese chef who is willing to deviate away from standard fair, while still keeping things in line with their minimalistic, fresh style of eating.
I went for a Leafee Sashimi Plate & an Eggplant Entree, which were both divine. Having caught Trevally and eaten it as sashimi recently I was overjoyed to find it on the menu. Trevally has to be one of the most delicious fish to eat this way and is not often found in restaurants. The Eggplant was grilled, with an amazing Yuzu based sauce, and Almond slivers on top, if you are a fan of Eggplant don’t go past this dish. Both were a generously sized entree, which is just what I wanted as I wasn’t overly hungry, and priced really well at around $12.
Due to a mix up with our orders, I also ended up getting a special dish made up of Pan fried Salmon, Tempura Trevally & Fried Chicken. Although I was somewhat full, and hadn’t actually ordered it I’m so glad they messed up! All three parts of the dish tasted good, so good in fact that I ate chicken (I don’t normally) & almost ate another mains worth of food.
Didn’t try the desserts, but am definitely keen to next time (which will be sometime very soon). A great dining experience, I highly recommend Leafee.

Have eaten here 3 times in the last 3 months.
Cafe: Great coffee, fresh delicious muffins, speedy service and yes lovely clean loo.
Restaurant: Group booking, BYO and parking easy for a Thursday night.
On the whole we all enjoyed our meals and the salmon was spectacular. The waitress lost one of our mains but dealt with it quickly. This most probably happen due to the waitress did not recap the orders with us.
The other big no no was turning off the coffee machine without asking if anyone wanted coffee, let alone sweets.
The coffee was fantastic as I knew it would be but the dining experience could of been better by making sure she had heard all the orders and seeing if we wanted a sweet delight and coffee to finish the meal.
Would I come back?….. Yes as I am prepared for this to be a one off and next time wowed by the service and getting to taste the sweet temptations.

This place is amazing! I love the food, coffee, and the ambiance. The cook is spectacular and he is very humble and kind too. A great place to sit and read when you need some down time.
