Went to Cafe Mondo over the weekend, and was very impressed. I ate the Lamb Burger and it was best burger I have had in a long time, highly recommend it. After going to the NZPGA golf I remember the Moa Beer , and I saw they had Moa beers, so washed down the burger with a Moa. Very good. Great food and drink and staff were fun and friendly!!

Went to Cafe Mondo for breakfast on Saturday. The place was swarming with staff but the service was slow and surley. After waiting an hour for our breakfast we enquired how much longer the meal would be. No apologies just a snappy, “we are busy” and “we won’t charge you for your meals but you will have to pay for your coffee.” Thinking this was an offer to give us our breakfast for free we thanked them very much but were told no we would not be getting our meals as we had accepted their offer not to pay for the meals. We left hungry and not impressed. Suggestion if you are busy tell people when ordering that there will be a long delay. Perhaps offer a complimentary coffee when the meals are taking a very long time. It is not good advertising to not give people their meals after an hours wait.

Great service with a smile. The coffee was a pleasure to sip, coupled by the great atmosphere and fantastic breakfast where the poached eggs were cooked to perfection and the bacon was delivered just how I asked for it. Definitely worth a stop if you are in Arrowtown.
