Took family for brunch. Staff were helpful and service was good , coffee excellent but food lacked taste. Kids had hot cakes straight from the packet and reheated. Eggs Benedict was Ok.

The worst was the large family of flys constantly buzzing around landing on us and our food.

Nice place, atmosphere, staff and service.

Hey this is where all us locals go! I’m definitely a fan of this little cafe in the heart of Whitianga … the only venue now which still has a feel of “how it used to be” ambience plus delicious food and great coffees.

Once again we visited NINA’S CAFE and found the normal …….friendly staff , fresh aromatic , well brewed and delivered coffee!
the place is quaint and in a real out of the way spot
VERY busy during the holiday season means a wait of half an hour at times BUT this proves they are busy and MUST be good as they are off the main street and harder to find than most cafes BUT once found , never forgotten

keep up the good work folks – we WILL be back !!

I went to cafe nina this summer and i must say the place is really nice but the service was so slow i had to wait over an hour for my coffee only for it to be cold and burnt, my breakfast was poor too, bacon was burnt, egg was obviusly not free range as claimed, overall it was not nice. it is also extremely overprized not worth the wait or the money. do not recommend it at all
