Inspired by a “touch of home” Café Olive has a unique touch of the warm Mediterranean combined with fine foods & service.
All cabinet and menu food is made in house by the owner and chef using high quality ingredients more typically used in fine dining restaurants.
Café Olive endeavour to provide a culinary experience, combining “age old” ingredients, used for centuries in traditional Mediterranean cuisine with a modern-day flair including delicious cakes and sweet treats.
Cafe Olive is licenced and serves a range of beers wines and cider. A wide range of appetising menu items are available throughout the day from our A la Carte Brunch/Lunch Menu and Cabinet Food. A range of gourmet deli products are also on offer including imported meats cheeses, olive oils etc. Imported & Local produce.
Café Olive is Hamilton’s only cafe serving Chiasso Coffee, the silver medal winning Milano Blend. Chiasso is an “artisan” coffee roasting company, established in 1997. By artisan, Chiasso means that they roast only premium grade coffee in small batches in a traditional Italian Petroncini drum roaster. All of Chiasso coffee is hand roasted and blended specifically to order.This means that all Chiasso coffee is the freshest possible and a coffee that Café Olive is proud to serve you.

This was the first visit to Cafe Olive after hearing many good things…!!
Seated outside in the cool breeze was great although it was just as pleasant and cool in the cafe itself.
Water was provided which was icy and plenty of it ( it was refilled without question .. EXCELLENT
Between us we had seafood chowders, lamb burger and vege pinini. I personally had a chowder and was not disappointed as It was built as a decent Lunch dish – not to heavy but all the right seafoody flavours
The stand out dish by looks, aromas and (by all accounts) taste, was the lamb burger. I will be trying this myself at our next visit (There will definitely be a NEXT VISIT)
Various drinks such as coffee and the fancy ice cream thingy with coffee and ginger (a gingerpete I think it was named) was devine and very different.
The prices were average but the overall feel and food of Olive Cafe make this not an issue.
I would recommend cafe Olive in an instant and am very cross that I have not been before…!!!!!

I just got a coffee this time as dropped in on my way through, the coffee was perfect. Would go back in a heart beat and highly recommend to everyone. A+++

The place is set up lovely and has nice music playing.
The customer service there is also wonderful and the staff are very friendly. I would highly recommend it.
