This is a great place to eat, and I don’t say that lightly! They have quality food, the staff are very friendly, and truly understand what “good customer service” is.

We have dined here twice for brunch recently, and both occasions loved our meals. Top marks to the chef! They had live music, which was fantastic, and added to the ambiance. We can also recommend the garden seating on a lovely Summer’s day. This cafe’ is very dog friendly, hence, our dog also enjoyed the experience.

We will return!

We went as a family to Cafe Paradiso on Mother’s day and couldn’t believe how much this place has improved since last year. Despite being fully booked, they did everything to accomodate our group of 4 and wow was it worth it!
My minestrone soup was out of this world, my husband was equally enthralled with his salmon & beetroot rosti and our 2 children both had the children’s roast beef and yorkshire pudding and finished every bit.
We took home Eccles cakes for afternoon tea and they were awesome. Best Mother’s Day lunch I have ever had. We won’t be leaving it so long to go back next time as we noticed they are now doing free childrens meals on a Saturday.

Thanks Ann the cafe was indeed buzzing on Mother’s Day and we had worked hard to produce some delicious special dishes for all the gorgeous Mums and their families to enjoy. Hope we will see you again before next years Mother’s Day.

We visited Cafe Paradiso over the Easter Break. We had a superb breakfast whilst sat in the tranquil garden, listening to a live band. Great coffee, delicious food, friendly staff and very relaxing. Thank you, we will be back!

We always stopped here on our way through to Tauranga and Rotorua but not any more. At the last visit I asked for a side order of mushrooms ($3.50) with the scrambled eggs on toast. What I got was ONE mushroom, when I asked if they had made a mistake I was told they had not and I could take it up with the chef if I wanted. On the way out the blond lady behind the counter called me rude when I did not acknowledge a sarcastic thank you. This used to have friendly staff and the food was great.
