I flew to Wellington for a “day away” from the usual humdrum.
Found by chance the Rosetta Road Cafe. The owners were warm & welcoming.
Cooked a delicious breakfast at my request (a dish that was not even on the menu).
Fabulous muffins, great coffee, good food in a friendly atmosphere.
Raumati South, Paraparaumu, you are very lucky!!!

Just had breakfast here around 20minutes ago – worst thing i have ever had! Got the big breakfast $21 defiantly not worth it, the “poached” eggs were hard, sausage was absolutely disgusting and not something that should be eaten with breakfast. Also brought an orange juice from their fridge – drank around 1/4 of it and decided it tasted weird – checked the warn off best before date – expired… Will never return. Was the worst breakfast I’ve had out the coast. Disgusting.

Went to Rosetta Cafe this weekend and I agree with Rebekah (24 Sept 2011) My husband & myself had mushrooms on bruschetta. (absolutely delicious) coffee lovely & hot. Would definitely recommend this cafe.

came down to the rosetta cafe, great staff they really go the extra mile to make a great dining experience. try the mushrooms bruscetta a taste sensation. Love the coffee hot, full flavor, just the way it should be. Making this our regular i would highly recommend you check it out!!!!!!!!!!

I Went to cafe Rosetta in the weekend, very friendly staff, had a great meal, coffee was excellent. It was a very inviting and friendly cafe, custard square was amazing. This cafe is in a great location, and I will be going back very soon. I highly recommend this cafe to anyone.

Walked into Rosetta Cafe today and was gutted to see its under new management. The scrumptious menu board had disappeared to be replaced with a few uninspiring dishes. Not that we got to sample the food as we were informed at 14:45 that the kitchen had closed even though the opening hours said 4pm on door. My favourite cafe ever is no more :0(

After being completely ignored at Lembas this morning, we have come away from Rosetta feeling very satisfied. Simple but delicious food – the corn fritters with homemade chutney were damn fine – and cosy surroundings with friendly staff.

Staff always very friendly and the food is good. My wife doesnt seem to like the Mocha’s so its always a battle to get her to come along but I have always found the food excellent and the staff friendly.

There are not many good cafe’s in Raumati – Lembas is too expensive and the rest are pretty poor food and Rosetta is a little Jewel in Kapiti.

Try the full breakfast – the mustard infused mashed potatoes that come with it are outstanding.

Love the setting here. Small and personal. Best Big Breakfast on the coast and great price. Great place to relax with a coffee and cake too..

Rosetta has outstanding service, our family go there often and always leave happy, the chicken filo dish is to die for, we are always taken care of at Rosetta with very personal service and great food.
