Love Cafe Sofra.
I apologise for not reviewing sooner as we do love to stop in here whenever we are in Browns Bay. It must just be that I get so busy on these days that I forget – so sorry!!
I cannot fault this place. Coffee, food, service – all fantastic.
It can often be so busy here at brunch time on the weekends that sometimes we have to make do with a takeaway coffee but that is by no means to their detriment!
I love to have brunch here and the eggs Benedict is always a winner with my husband. I love the creamy mushrooms!
You also have to try the Baklava – awesome!! You will leave wanting to go back for more.

We have been coming to Café Sofra for about 10 years I think. The food, coffee and service have always been exceptional and everyone I have recommended this café to have also found it to be fantastic. I do take great exception to the anti-children comment below from Rose. Our first child was one when we started coming here (now ten) and our second a few weeks old (now four). We and our children could not have been made more welcome over this time than if Alan, Gulten and Erwin were family. A big five stars for Café Sofra.

We often take the kids to Cafe Sofra on our frequent trips to Browns Bay. We have found the staff to be always friendly and accommodating. Fabulous breakfasts! Great coffee. We will definitely keep going.

A big thank you to Café Sofra for maintaining an excellent standard in every way that counts for “coffee and relaxation” over so many years. We have moved out of the area but we still visit regularly with our young grandchildren when we are in Browns Bay because the owners are so welcoming to us and our precious little folk. A big thumbs up from young Josh and Alex for the big smiles and the marshmallows that make their day, and from us for the big smiles and the awesome coffee that make ours!

While the Coffee was nice, i will never return after the man came up to us and told my son off for wearing shoes (he wasn’t jumping up and down he was sat down nicely looking through the gap in a wall to look at the water) he then watched us the whole time we were sat there. Don’t recommend if you have kids, as they obviously don’t want them there. Will never be going back!

We have been regular customers of Cafe Sofra for the last 10 years.

The menu is varied, the food consistently great and the service attentive. It is a great place for either a superb coffee or really enjoyable food.

Highly recommended. And they are very family orientated.

I only went here as I had a voucher in the entertainment book……. but what a fantastic cafe, and after living 5 mins away, why haven’t I been here before!!! Lots of choices, including vegetarian…. well priced, delicious food…. value for money!! The coffee was superb…they roast their own beans. And the staff where lovely…helped my friend and I with our baby’s in their prams… no rude signs or disapproval! Excellent!!! Thank you.
