Great Taiwan food! A must go for local taiwan cuisine lovers!

Went on a Saturday in the beginning of October this year – After the GST rise but Cafe Zinc actually didn’t put their GST up until the day after we visited ?maybe the 9th of Oct.
It was quite a busy restaurant with mostly Asian people around. The group of us (4) were all first time visiting. I thought the food was all nice and price was average. My husband especially likes their Dry Noodle. We also ordered Spicy Wonton, which there were 15 of them and was really nice. I had a lamb starchy soup with vermicille – that was pretty good as well. I also recommend their drink menu (Taiwanese bubble tea) – but I suppose you might be able to get more volume from other places like Mo Mo Tea or Easy Way.

Only eaten here a couple of times, always out of the cabinet. Food was average – nothing great, and I felt a bit over priced for what I got and they took a long time getting it to me considering I was the only one there…
**Update** we gave it another go recently as it was the only place open… once again there was no one else there but the food took ages to arrive, and was average.
It seems to be setup as an asian style restaurant rather than a cafe, so perhaps that is their strength.

Environment: comfortable, welcoming, tidy and clean.
Cuisine selections: They actually have 2-in-1 menu, which consists of selection of “International” and “Taiwanese” food.
Food: I tried the “Hot & Sour Won Tons” from the Taiwanese cuisine menu, which its really tasty and like home cooked food. I am now looking forward to try their dumpling soup for my next visit.
Drinks: Again, I ordered from the Taiwanese menu for the original Milk Tea. I find it good not sweet just right, however, my partner’s Taro Milk Tea is actually FANTASTIC. Guess what… in the end we takeway another two more Taro Milk Tea with us!
