The Yogi Polar is my favourite and always good. However today the young girl serving never put any of the top layer in so there were no white chocolate pieces in the cone. Overall no better than a plain berry cone at any old shop. Very disappointing!!!

I love the ice-cream and sorbet range so many selections to choose from though i shouldnt be eatting ice-cream as im
lactose intolerance but they taste so good i cannot resit, favourite ice-creams are cookies n cream, and yogi bear.Sorbet pina colada. I find that when the asian dude is working he always gives me a huge scoop but when the girls are working the scoop are not as big,and the guy is way more friendly and fast hes on his game.
I come here as much as i can,so many times a week i would say the best ice-creams and sorbets ive tasted,i forget about the price though its so worth it.

Hi, my friend brought me here for coffee. We decided to have some gelato after finding out its made with milk not cream. They had a lot of great flavours (like ferrero rocher)and they let us try before we buy. Service was great as was our coffee, i will definitely be coming back for more -Jess G

Took our time choosing our flavours from the great selection — at $7 for a double scoop we didn’t want to make a poor choice and asked to sample flavours. This was met by sighing and snapping from the staff member serving us. I was apologetic and friendly about our requests but she remained extremely rude. The gelato itself was quite good but nowhere near good enough to be worth tolerating such a terrible attitude from the server. We will not be visiting again.

usually i am not a fan of Ice cream, Gelato, Sorbet but since my friend took me to Casa del Gelato i was wondering what Gelato means…. now i am a huge fan and infected by this Awesome products. I love the Yogi-Polar, Snickers and Feijoa…. i will see you again soon and hope many people appreciate your work and ideas you got. Italian style.

This is apparently the only ice cream place in Ponsonby, and they make Italian-style gelato and sorbet. They have some excellent, imaginative flavours, and they use costly ingredients like liqueurs. The staff are friendly and helpful and graciously allow you to try as many flavours as you like. There are only two problems: the gelato’s and sorbets lack smoothness and can be icy, and the prices are probably the highest in Auckland, (apart from Movenpick) at $6.50 for a double scoop.
