Thank goodness it was open Mothers Day.
Brunch was great.
I had BLT with lashings of bacon, two adults had soup, one had pizza and one had the big breakfast, the service was good, the food was hot, the cafe was warm, it was a cold day.

Went for dinner with two friends & there had been a mix up with our booking. Service was excellent & they gave us a free round of drinks while we waited for a free table. Unfortunately this was the only time during the evening that we were asked if we would like a drink.
Entree’s were good as were the Pasta mains.
The desert was quite ordinary. Brandy snaps were just shop bought ones & the banoffie pie didn’t have any fresh banana in it.
Atmosphere was good & would probably go back again to try the pizza.

I went here with 3 other friends and we had the Deep Friend Camembert, Fries, Chilli Prawns, Roast Lamb Pizza and the Teriyaki Brandy Chicken – they were all amazingly delicious. We had 2 bottles of wine also and the total price was extremely reasonable. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we are going back with a huge group for my birthday. I totally recommend to everyone, such a diverse range of food and staff with a smile. Yum Yum!!

I went with 5 others for lunch the other day. Place has a great atmosphere,lively colours and people. Garlic and cheese bread was really yum and different (like a pizza in itself) We had seafood, meatlovers pizzas which were also yum in all respects. The Greek salad was very fresh and generous enough to warrant a doggy bag. All reasonably priced. Loved it

What a disappointment, wont be eating off that menu again. I had warm Thai chicken salad, done in a chili and coconut cream sauce. The small chunks of chicken (not strips) were dry, well over spiced, (too much sprinkled from the packet on the chicken before hand) and the sauce had no taste at all. What garden salad, it was red cabbage with way too much red onion. My companion had the battered fish, three pieces and these were wee pieces. A pile of shoe string fries and once again not the garden salad, but red cabbage and lots of red onions. Either the price needs to change or a few cooking lessons needed in the kitchen, on how to. Heard the pizza is good though

my son and I decided to go see a movie in Lower Hutt, as I know and alot of other residents of this town, there is limited pickings of somewhere decent to dine so we decided to go for pizza at Chapellis as it was new. We ordered two pizzas and a greek salad. My pizza came first which I realized was not what I ordered, when my sons pizza came ten minutes later they corrected mine and were apologetic. After we started our pizzas we discussed how bland they were, my son commenting on the sauce on my pizza likening it to a can of watties spag, which in turn i agreed. My salad turned up fifteen minutes later which suspiciously had no olives nor feta reminiscent of a Greek salad. The waiter apologised also for this too. Will not be venturing to Chapelis again.

Visited Chapelli’s few weeks back.. Good food and cozy atmosphere. Loved the green salad that comes with the steak, very unique! Great friendlly staff makes the experience all the more worthwhile!

We visited Chapelli’s Eatery & Wine Bar in Lower Hutt to order from there takeaway menu. The takeaway Pizza menu had lots of variety to choose from. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We ordered a Satay Chicken Pizza and Barbecue Special. These were made in the Flamed Grilled Pizza Oven. Our pizza’s were very yummy, tasty, and had lots of toppings on them. The base was very thin and had a lovely taste from being cooked from the Pizza Oven. By far the best Pizza’s in the Hutt Valley.

We visited Chapelli’s for a quick bite the other night and I must say the service is great, meals arrived quickly and the staff were friendly, knowledgable and upbeat.

In terms of the food, we started with the cheese and tomato pizza which was beautiful, fresh ingrediants and piping hot. My partner ordered the steak as a main and was a little disappointed as it was over cooked and the sauce was under seasoned. I had the pepperoni pizza and it was delicous again beautiful ingrediants and straight from the pizza oven. Will be going back for the Pizza for sure and love that they do a takeaway menu – is good having fresh and tasty wood fired pizza available in the Hutt.
