I’ve been to this place a number of times, yes I know a lot of people have given below average ratings but let me say a couple things. Their Lamb Kebabs are really good if you have a chance to pop in order from their kebab menu instead. But other than that we went there last Friday and our main meal didn’t come out till an hour after ordering. The food was average but please avoid their over chlorinated water! Just get yourself a coke.

A place to be avoided, the food was very ordinary, the service was equally bad and the prices were too high.

After coming into the place, we selected a table and then after 15 minutes had to go and find the waitress who was having a yak with a collegue.

The entree was served after the first main, followed 10 minutes later by the other main that we ordered.

The food was very disappointing; bought a doggie bag home but would not feed it to a dog for fear of being reported to the RSPCA

I am not criticizing Amelia, but I think you should be truthful for your comments. Some people have given some real reviews for this restaurant on DineOut.

My friend and I have been to this place once, and we don’t want to go there again. This is not a enjoyable place to have Chinese food. Sorry!

This place has amazing food. If you have three of you, sharing two mains is definitely recommended. The waitress can only speak very limited English and is very effiecient otherwise. If you can, get a hold of the little menu – it has little extras that you might like to add to your meal. Prices are fantastic. Never disappointed – a great find in Newtown!
